Last updated: 16 May 2026. These terms govern the live GradeHack product and have been reviewed by our solicitor. We'll post a dated update if anything material changes.

What GradeHack is

GradeHack is a live product: an AI module advisor grounded in a proprietary dataset of UK module-level grade distributions sourced via Freedom of Information requests, plus public cluster pages and an editorial blog. The advisor is free to try without an account; the full advisor runs on prepaid credits.

Acceptable use

• Don't scrape, harvest, or programmatically extract content, data, or advisor output, and don't attempt to reconstruct the underlying raw dataset.
• Don't attempt to make the advisor reveal raw figures, bypass its guardrails, or use it to abuse, deceive, or harm others.
• One account per person. Don't resell, share, or sublicense access or credits.

Accounts, credits and billing

• Sign-in is via your email address and a password. Keep your password secure and don't share your account.
• Paid credit packs are purchased through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout. Credits are consumed per advisor query and are non-transferable.
• Credits are refunded automatically when a query fails on our side. Otherwise, because credits deliver a digital service consumed immediately, purchases are non-refundable except where required by UK consumer law.

Data you see

Public pages show banded signals only (e.g. low / mid / high First-rate), never raw percentages, and cohorts under 10 are suppressed. All figures are historical and provided for information only, they are not a prediction or guarantee of any grade outcome.

Data requests

If you ask to be notified when data for a university, course or module becomes available, we store your email for that purpose and email you once when it goes live. See the privacy page.

Liability

GradeHack publishes information and advisor output in good faith. Decisions about your degree, modules or career are yours alone. To the extent permitted by law, we don't accept liability for academic, financial or other outcomes influenced by, derived from, or attributed to information or advisor output from this site.
